Job Description:

The selected candidate will play a key role in financial operations, focused on processing accounting information, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring quality and timely financial reporting. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong understanding of accounting principles and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility:

Accurately prepare and post journal entries in a timely manner
Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies found
Actively participate in the month-end close process
Ensure all accounting operations align with accounting principles and internal controls
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reporting for management
Provide necessary documentation and analysis during audits
Collaborate with other team members to improve accounting processes and workflows
Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts as necessary
Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to accounting
Use Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to manage and monitor customer accounts

Requirements:

Recent and related experience as a Staff Accountant
Well-versed in Bank Reconciliations and Journal Entries
Experience with NetSuite accounting software a plus, but not required
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Knowledge of accounting best practices and regulations

Nice to have:

Experience with NetSuite accounting software
