Job Description:

The role involves ensuring the accuracy of general ledger data and supporting financial decision-making through the collection, analysis, investigation, and reporting of financial data.

Job Responsibility:

Analyze and report financial data accurately and in a timely manner, providing relevant information
Improve processes by identifying areas that require enhancement and implementing necessary improvements
Ensure compliance with standards such as GAAP and FASB, along with internal control systems and regulations
Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including financial statements and budget performance
Handle sensitive data confidentially while ensuring compliance with corporate controls and policies
Audit documentation to substantiate financial transactions
Record monthly journal entries and reconcile financial accounts by collecting and analyzing account information
Conduct user acceptance testing for accounting ERP and other systems as required for periodic projects and system upgrades
Perform account receivable functions as needed

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Staff Accountant role or similar
Proficiency in bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Demonstrated ability to maintain and manage general ledger accounts
Experience in preparing and posting journal entries, ensuring all business transactions are recorded
Familiarity with month-end close process including account analysis and reconciliation
Working knowledge of SAP, demonstrating an understanding of its key functionalities
Proficient in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, demonstrating the ability to navigate and use effectively
Strong skills in Excel, including pivot tables, vlookups, and other advanced functions
Experience with Dynamics, demonstrating capability in using it to streamline accounting processes
Familiarity with the consolidation process, demonstrating the ability to compile and analyze financial information effectively
