Job Description:

We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team based in Brea, California. As a Staff Accountant, you will be pivotal in handling General Ledger (GL) accounting tasks, assisting with the preparation of budgets, and conducting financial analysis.

Job Responsibility:

Accurately manage General Ledger entries
Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets
Conduct detailed financial analysis as required
Support in the creation of audit schedules
Undertake month-end accounting tasks
Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy
Assist in maintaining adherence to GAAP standards
Handle ad hoc accounting tasks as needed
Take the initiative in meeting financial deadlines
Foster a team-oriented environment within the department

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year in a similar role
Proficiency in managing General Ledger
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
CPA or CMA preferred but not mandatory
Understanding of GAAP and other accounting principles
Proficient in using accounting software
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a team
Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity

Nice to have:

CPA or CMA certification
