Job Description:

We are seeking a diligent and dedicated Staff Accountant to join our team. Located in the Real Estate & Property industry in Chicago, Illinois, this role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, processing applications, and resolving customer inquiries.

Job Responsibility:

Managing customer accounts
Processing applications
Resolving customer inquiries

Requirements:

Accurately processing customer credit applications
Maintaining precise records of customer credit
Regularly monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary action
Managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to ensure financial accuracy
Conducting Bank Reconciliations as part of financial management
Regularly updating and maintaining the General Ledger
Preparing Journal Entries as part of the accounting process
Ensuring Month End Close tasks are completed accurately and on time
Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis
Operating MRI Software and BlackLine for efficient account management
Preparing Monthly Financial Statements for review
Overseeing Financial Statement and Financial Reporting to ensure compliance and transparency
Possess strong skills in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management
Have experience with bank reconciliations
Be competent in managing the general ledger
Have the ability to prepare and post journal entries
Have experience with month-end close procedures
Be proficient in Microsoft Excel
Have experience with MRI Software
Possess knowledge and experience with BlackLine software
Be capable of preparing monthly financial statements
Have a strong understanding of financial statement preparation
Be proficient in financial reporting
