Job Description:

Robert Half is looking for a detail-oriented and driven Staff Accountant to join our client's finance team. This opportunity is perfect for individuals eager to enhance their expertise in month-end close processes, general ledger management, and account reconciliation. As a key contributor to the accounting team, the Staff Accountant will help maintain accurate financial records and provide essential support to meet organizational objectives.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure the accuracy of the general ledger by maintaining accounts in accordance with company policies and accounting standards
Assist in our month-end close activities, which include preparing journal entries and supporting our financial reporting processes
Contribute to the preparation of financial reports and management summaries
Support the maintenance of fixed asset records and the calculation of depreciation
Prepare supporting documentation for internal and external audits, thereby assisting with audit and compliance
Collaborate with other departments such as operations and supply chain to ensure the accuracy of financial data
Learn and implement process improvements to increase efficiency in our financial operations

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA preferred
3+ years of full cycle accounting experience
Manufacturing experience or cost experience ideal
Basic knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
Strong ERP knowledge
Advanced Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail, demonstrated integrity and professionalism
Proven ability to perform under deadlines, to adjust plans to meet changing needs and requirements

Nice to have:
