Job Description:

This role is ideal for professionals eager to grow their accounting expertise and work in a supportive, fast-paced environment. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a critical role in maintaining financial accuracy and driving key processes for the organization's financial operations.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and ensure the general ledger is accurate monthly
assist in preparing monthly financial reports and statements for management review, ensuring compliance with accounting principles
monitor the AP and AR processes, address discrepancies, and ensure accurate recording of transactions
conduct regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies efficiently
collaborate with team members to assist in the budgeting process, including variance analysis
provide documentation and support for external and internal audits as needed
identify and recommend opportunities to streamline accounting processes
ensure adherence to GAAP and other regulatory requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
strong foundation in accounting principles with an eagerness to learn and develop new skills
proficiency with ERP systems (experience with systems like SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite is a plus)
basic to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including functions such as VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and formulas
highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks under deadlines
excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and other departments
ability to problem-solve and take initiative in improving current processes

Nice to have:

experience with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite
