Job Description:

Positions works closely with the Accounting Manager and is responsible for reconciliations, month-end journal entries and other accounting duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
Proven experience as a Staff Accountant or a similar role in the accounting department
Demonstrable proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
Familiarity with financial accounting statements
Must possess skills in the 'Month End Close' process
Excellent mathematical skills and meticulous attention to detail
Strong analytical abilities to comprehend and interpret financial data
Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Must be ethical, with the ability to maintain confidentiality
Certification as a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is preferred but not mandatory
