Job Description:

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Staff Accountant to be a part of our team based in Nashville, Tennessee. In this role, you will be primarily focusing on handling accounts payable and receivable, conducting bank reconciliations, and maintaining the general ledger. You will also be tasked with processing journal entries and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.

Job Responsibility:

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounts payable and receivable
Conduct thorough bank reconciliations regularly
Maintain an accurate and updated general ledger
Process journal entries and ensure their accuracy
Carry out month-end close procedures effectively
Utilize financial software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP in daily tasks
Ensure all financial records are maintained accurately and timely
Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any financial discrepancies
Monitor customer accounts and perform appropriate actions when necessary
Assist in processing customer credit applications efficiently

Requirements:

Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management
Experience with bank reconciliations
Understanding of General Ledger and Journal Entries
Ability to perform Month End Close tasks
Familiarity with NetSuite and Oracle financial software
Proficiency in QuickBooks
Experience with SAP software
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
