Job Description:

The responsibilities for this Staff Accountant role consist of handling general accounting operations such as: assisting with accounts payable/receivable activities, reviewing general ledger accounts, preparing financial reports, assisting with financial research, providing administrative support, and collaborating with financial resources/vendors as needed.

Job Responsibility:

Support daily accounting functions
Month End/Year End Close
General Ledger Maintenance
Budgeting & Forecasting
Payroll Processing
Daily, Weekly, Monthly Financial Reporting
Recurring Journal Entries
Provide documentation for annual tax returns
Assist with ad hoc projects

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Accounting
1+ years of accounting experience, corporate and/or non-profit industry experience preferred
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Proficient knowledge of accounting software
Strong GAAP knowledge
Strong technical and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Some light travel required
