Job Description:

Robert Half is seeking a talented Staff Accountant to work with a thriving company. This role involves preparing journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, and general ledger maintenance. The candidate will perform internal reporting during the monthly close, participate in compliance, interact with external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, and review schedules reporting processes.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee monthly financial closing for multiple companies
Analyze income and expense accounts
Prepare financial statements, schedules, and reports
Analyze variances and make recommendations
Complete account reconciliations and oversee banking functions and funding
Fixed asset accounting
Create annual budgets for multiple companies
Assist in annual company audit
Ensure compliance with regulations

Requirements:

4-year Accounting or related business degree, or 2-year Accounting degree
2+ years of accounting experience
Familiarity with Microsoft suite, especially Excel
Distinguished analytical, quantitative and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills
