Job Description:

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for handling all aspects of the accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. Additional responsibilities include assisting with month-end and year-end close, preparing reports for management, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility:

Handling all aspects of the accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
Assisting with month-end and year-end close
Preparing reports for management
Ensuring compliance with accounting standards

Requirements:

3+ years of accounting experience
Full-cycle accounting experience, including GL, reconciliations, and financial reporting
Proficiency in Excel and accounting software
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
Knowledge of Financial Statement Analysis
Experience in Financial Statement Preparation
Familiarity with Journal Entries
Ability to handle Month-end Journal Entries
Experience in Month End Close processes
Basic understanding of Light Accounting
Proficiency in QuickBooks
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
Experience in Data Entry tasks
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suites
