Job Description:

An innovative and efficient STAFF ACCOUNTANT is needed for a recognized company in the Bethlehem area. We are looking for a talented and focused individual who will play a vital role in this company’s success. In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining records and determine record of assets, liabilities, profits and loss, and tax liabilities. Job Responsibility:

Prepare and examine financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP or applicable standards
Manage general ledger entries, including journal entries and account reconciliations
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analysis
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable
Process payroll and prepare payroll reports as needed
Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Assist with audits by preparing audit schedules and supporting documentation
Manage and monitor company expenses, ensuring alignment with budget guidelines
Maintain accurate and organized financial records and support documentation
Analyze financial discrepancies and recommend corrective actions
Provide support for month-end and year-end close processes

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or relevant certification preferred
2+ years of accounting experience
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)
Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory compliance
