Job Description:

Robert Half Talent Solutions is working with a rapidly growing company in Illinois searching for a Staff Accountant. The role includes performing general-ledger account reconciliations, supporting financial close processes, and maintaining financial compliance. Additional tasks involve preparing reports for management and handling full-cycle accounting for affiliated companies.

Job Responsibility:

Conduct mid-level general-ledger account reconciliations, verify data accuracy, and identify/correct errors from internal and external sources
Support financial close processes including preparing journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and handling accruals
Provide operational management accounts schedules and variance commentary, along with working-capital cash-flow reports
Maintain and update financial records for profit and loss, taxes, liabilities, and assets
Prepare special financial reports for management by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing trends and account information
Handle full-cycle accounting for affiliated companies under owner control, including smaller related party entities

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
2+ years of full cycle accounting experience
ERP system experience
intermediate MS Excel
