Job Description:

Staff Pharmacists at CVS Health play a critical role in delivering the company's purpose: improving health care access, lowering costs, and being a trusted partner for health care. They lead and manage pharmacy operations and ensure compliance while providing compassionate care to patients.

Job Responsibility:

Managing and improving patient health through safe and appropriate dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices
Overseeing the pharmacy in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager
Strengthening pharmacy performance measures through effective coaching and follow-up
Contributing to positive patient experiences
Delivering immunizations to patients
Managing pharmacy inventory and ensuring compliance with cold chain best practices
Ensuring pharmacy operations comply with state Board of Pharmacy regulations
Maintaining clinical and technical skills
Providing pharmacist-delivered clinical care including testing and prescribing services
Complying with federal and state laws and CVS Health policies to maintain safety and inclusivity.

Requirements:

Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe

Physical Demands

Nice to have:

1-2 years of related work experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Ability to work in other locations across the market as business needs require
