Job Description:

Staff Pharmacist role at CVS Health, focused on improving patient health, leading pharmacy operations, and delivering excellent care.

Job Responsibility:

Living our purpose by helping to manage and improve patient health through safe and appropriate dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices
Overseeing the pharmacy as proxy during bench shifts, strengthening performance measures through coaching
Supporting prescription fulfillment by following pharmacy workflow procedures and safety guardrails
Contributing to positive patient experiences and proactively resolving issues
Delivering and promoting immunizations to patients
Ensuring compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations
Managing pharmacy inventory effectively
Writing pharmacy schedules as directed
Maintaining clinical and technical skills for the job
Providing pharmacist delivered clinical care such as testing and prescribing services
Compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, standards and CVS Health policies

Requirements:

Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe

Nice to have:

1-2 years of related work experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Ability to work in other locations across the market as business needs require
