As a Staff Pharmacist at CVS Health, you will play a critical role in delivering human-centric health care and ensuring patient safety. Your responsibilities include managing pharmacy operations, coaching team members, providing immunizations, and maintaining compliance with laws and regulations. The position requires exceptional customer service skills, attention to detail, and flexibility in scheduling.
Job Responsibility:

Supporting the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing the pharmacy team
Overseeing the pharmacy during bench shifts without overlap
Strengthening pharmacy performance measures through coaching
Supporting safe and accurate prescription fulfillment processes
Contributing to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care
Proactively offering and delivering immunizations
Managing pharmacy inventory and following best practices
Ensuring compliance with Board of Pharmacy regulations
Maintaining relevant clinical and technical skills
Supporting pharmacist-delivered clinical care services
Complying with all relevant federal and state laws, regulations, professional standards, and ethical principles.
Requirements:
Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list
Regular and predictable attendance including nights and weekends
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
Attention and focus including ability to concentrate on tasks over time and pivot quickly
Ability to confirm prescription information and label accuracy ensuring patient safety
Customer service and team orientation including friendly interaction with patients and colleagues
Communication skills including verbal and written communication and active listening
Mathematical reasoning including solving problems like determining the number of tablets to dispense and days’ supply
Issue resolution by identifying challenges and selecting appropriate solutions
Physical demands including mobility, lifting up to 20 lbs., and precision instrument control
Compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, professional standards, and ethical principles.
Nice to have:
1-2 years of related work experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Ability to work in other locations across the market as business needs require.
