Job Description:

As a Staff Pharmacist at CVS Health, you will play a critical role in delivering our purpose, cultivating excellence, and demonstrating genuine care for patients. You will support the Pharmacy Manager and oversee pharmacy operations while contributing to improved patient health and outcomes.

Job Responsibility:

Living our purpose by helping to manage and improve patient health through safe and appropriate dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices
overseeing the pharmacy as proxy during bench shifts without overlap
strengthening pharmacy performance measures through effective coaching
supporting safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
contributing to positive patient experiences
proactively delivering immunizations
managing pharmacy inventory effectively
ensuring pharmacy operations compliance
maintaining clinical and technical skills
providing holistic care through pharmacist-delivered clinical services
complying with federal and state laws and ethical principles
supporting patient safety and workplace inclusivity

Requirements:

Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list

Nice to have:

1-2 years of related work experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical or customer service setting
ability to work in other locations across the market as business needs require
