The role includes coaching and leading pharmacy staff, maintaining strict compliance with regulations, and improving patient outcomes.
Job Responsibility:

Overseeing the pharmacy as the proxy of the Pharmacy Manager during bench shifts
Strengthening pharmacy performance measures through effective coaching and consistent follow-ups
Supporting safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following pharmacy workflow procedures
Contributing to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care
Proactively offering and delivering immunizations to keep patients healthy
Supporting the effective management of pharmacy inventory by following inventory best practices
Ensuring pharmacy operations are compliant with the state Board of Pharmacy regulations
Supporting access to care and helping to improve patient outcomes through clinical care
Understanding and complying with all relevant federal and state laws, regulations, professional standards, and ethical principles.
Requirements:
Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
Ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time
Ability to pivot quickly from one task to another to meet patient and business needs
Ability to confirm prescription information and label accuracy, ensuring patient safety
Actively look for ways to help people in a friendly manner
Notice and understand patients’ reactions, and respond appropriately
Use and understand verbal and written communication to interact with patients and colleagues
Utilize active listening by giving full attention to others, asking questions, and not interrupting
Ability to use math to solve problems such as determining the total number of tablets to dispense
Ability to identify challenging patient or colleague interactions and choose the best course of action
Be mobile and remain upright for extended periods of time
Lift, scan, and bag items
Reach overhead and stretch or reach out to grasp items
Move fingers repetitively for tasks like typing
Extend hand(s) and arm(s) to place, move, or lift items
Stoop and bend to considerable degrees to move items
Perform activities requiring close visual acuity
Occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.
Frequently lift up to 10 lbs.
Regular tasks involving talking, listening, and expressing ideas clearly
Ability to comply with all relevant laws, regulations, professional standards, and ethical principles.

1-2 years of related work experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
