Job Description:

We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join Fever with outstanding software development talent proven by great work results/experience. Somebody that cares about code quality and not just get things done, but get things done right.

Job Responsibility:

Define and drive long-term engineering vision and strategy in collaboration with other team members
Lead and execute large-scale engineering projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and technical excellence
Plan and implement architectural strategies to support future scalability and business needs
Coordinate and drive high-impact initiatives by working closely with multiple teams and stakeholders
Temporarily embed in product teams to solve complex architectural challenges and improve execution
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to engineers at all levels, inspiring continuous improvement and innovation
Ensure best practices, code quality, and development efficiency through reviews and technical leadership
Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to keep the company at the forefront of engineering advancements

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
8+ years in software engineering roles within agile environments, including 3+ years in technical leadership
Strong knowledge of design patterns, best practices, testing, and distributed systems
Experience designing scalable systems, networking, resilience, and migrating monoliths to microservices
Ability to deliver code from development to production while ensuring high-quality engineering solutions
Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence technical teams
High autonomy and a proactive mindset for identifying and solving problems with a bias for action
Exceptional communication skills and ability to thrive in collaborative environments
Growth mindset, adaptability to change, and a commitment to continuous improvement
Empathetic, inclusive, and curious attitude with a passion for making a positive impact on millions of people through technology
Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken)

Experience working on agile methodology
Event communication between services
Handling services with more than 1000 request/second.
