Job Description:

My client is a large facilities and maintenance company who operates in various sites across the commercial sector. They are currently looking for an experienced maintenance electrician to join an established team on a static site in Northumberland. This role is full time, permanent with core working hours per week.

Job Responsibility:

Routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of electrical systems (e.g., distribution boards, lighting, machinery, and equipment)
Fault-finding and troubleshooting of electrical issues that may arise across the site
Ensuring compliance with electrical safety regulations and standards (18th Edition, etc.)
Responding to and addressing any electrical faults or breakdowns promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to the site's operations
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on equipment to avoid future issues
Maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety standards

Requirements:

Successful completion of a recognized electrician qualification-NVQ Level 3
Successful completion an electrician apprenticeship or have equivalent experience working as an electrician
Understanding of I.E.E. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Over 5 years of FM experience
Ability to collaborate within a team or as an individual where required
Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving work environment
Problem-solving capabilities to address challenges and obstacles effectively
Able to handle pressure while maintaining a positive outlook
Need to Pass level 3 MOJ checks - DBS

What we offer:

Salary up to £38,000 per annum based on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 working hours
33 days including bank holidays
