Job Description:

Retail Store Associates play a meaningful role within the CVS Health family by helping shape the future of health care for people, businesses, and communities. They engage in a customer-focused role to positively impact lives, and support store operational activities including sales floor maintenance, cashier services, and pharmacy assistance.

Job Responsibility:

Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating compassion and care in all interactions, and actively identifying and resolving potential service issues
focusing on the customer by giving a warm and friendly greeting, maintaining eye contact, and offering help locating additional items
accurately performing cashier duties including handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions
maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, managing inventory, updating pricing information, and checking in vendors
supporting store opening and closing activities
providing customer support to all departments including photo and beauty
assisting pharmacy personnel when needed and working regular shifts in the pharmacy for career development opportunities
embracing and advocating new CVS services and loyalty programs

Requirements:

At least 16 years of age
remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time
lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs of force occasionally
visual acuity for tasks such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and inspecting small parts/details
high school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
previous experience in a retail or customer service setting preferred
