Job Description:

Retail Store Associates play a meaningful role within the CVS Health family, helping shape the future of health care for individuals, businesses, and communities. This role positively impacts lives by working independently and as part of a team to deliver exceptional customer service and support daily operations in a high-impact retail setting.

Job Responsibility:

Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating compassion and care, and actively identifying and resolving potential issues
giving a warm and friendly greeting, maintaining eye contact and helping locate additional items
performing cashier duties with precision, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions under company policies
maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking vendors, updating pricing info, and completing inventory tasks as directed
supporting opening and closing store activities
providing customer support to all departments, including photo and beauty
working regular shifts in the pharmacy for growth and development
embracing and advocating for CVS services and loyalty programs.

Requirements:

At least 16 years of age
remaining upright on the feet for sustained periods of time
lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and a negligible amount regularly
close visual acuity for activities like viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspection involving small parts/details
previous experience in a retail or customer service setting preferred
High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
