Job Description:

The Store Manager in Training will be responsible for recruiting, hiring, and training employees, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining site cleanliness and organization, and managing financial aspects of the store. The role requires strong leadership and management skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and the ability to work with minimal direction and supervision.

Job Responsibility:

Recruit, hire and train employees
Develop, manage and assign tasks to ensure site cleanliness and organization
Maintain professional and supportive image
Schedule employees to maximize customer service
Implement non-discriminatory management skills
Develop positive relationships with suppliers
Promote excellent service and resolve customer complaints
Prepare performance appraisals
Train employees on safety procedures
Establish communication meetings
Evaluate and develop action plans for site needs
Organize and maintain site files
Manage and supervise store employees
Analyze daily sales and expense information
Budget and forecast P&L lines
Safeguard and account for all money received and disbursed

Requirements:

High School diploma or GED preferred
Experience in retail sales preferred
Ability to supervise and train for the use of equipment, tools and materials
Ability to supervise and manage functions listed in CSR and ASM job description
Ability to use computer or acquire necessary skills
Valid driver’s license and adequate transportation
Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in English
