Job Description:

Store Manager in Training role at Circle K focuses on leading store operations, supervising employees, ensuring excellent customer service, analyzing financial reports, and maintaining company standards for site image. The position requires performing both indoor and occasional outdoor tasks with minimal supervision to meet organizational goals.

Job Responsibility:

  • Recruit, hire and train positive, enthusiastic employees, ensuring excellent customer service
  • develop, manage and assign tasks to ensure the site is clean, stocked, organized, and well-kept
  • maintain a professional and supportive image among employees and supervisors
  • schedule employees to maximize customer service and maintain site image
  • implement non-discriminatory management practices
  • develop positive and professional relationships with suppliers
  • resolve customer complaints professionally
  • ensure site safety and positive public image
  • prepare performance appraisals for employees
  • train employees on customer service, site image, marketing execution, and safety procedures
  • ensure effective communication with employees
  • conduct communication meetings with employees and managers
  • manage store action plans, files, and manuals
  • supervise store employees to complete reports accurately
  • ensure displays are stocked and attractively arranged
  • analyze daily sales and expenses to maximize sales and profits
  • manage budgets, merchandise margins, and financial operations.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • experience in retail sales preferred
  • experience to perform the essential duties, responsibilities and working in the conditions described below
  • ability to supervise and train for the use of equipment, tools and materials from the CSR and ASM job description
  • ability to supervise and manage functions listed in the CSR and ASM job description
  • ability to use computer or acquire necessary skills to use a computer for analysis of reports, inventory control, cash control, counseling notices, etc.
  • a valid driver’s license and adequate transportation to/from bank and corporate management meetings
  • ability to communicate orally and in writing in English
  • perform other duties as assigned or delegated by supervisor.
