Job Description:

As a Strategic Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing strong personal and collaborative relationships to manage a book of business focusing exclusively on Meritain Health’s pharmacy business, Meritain Pharmacy Solutions. The role involves providing solutions to address client needs, achieving customer satisfaction, and aligning service levels to organizational goals.

Job Responsibility:

  • executes tactical components of the client management team’s business plan for each customer
  • responsible for managing daily plan sponsor/producer concerns
  • executes objectives aligned to customer and organizational goals for a block of business
  • offers creative product and service solutions to address client's evolving needs
  • monitors on an ongoing basis client's product lines and services
  • supports the annual business plan and account strategy
  • collaborates with medical account team members and pharmacy support areas on complex issues
  • collaborates cross-functionally for service efficiencies
  • manages new client implementation to ensure smooth integration
  • performs service-related tasks on existing customers and participates in open enrollment
  • coordinates service work and resolution of service issues
  • provides support on opportunities for new products and services.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of relevant healthcare industry experience
  • ability to travel 25% – 50%
  • ability to lead open enrollment strategy, including on-site client meetings
  • strong communication skills
  • communication experience with C-suite level individuals
  • monitoring and reporting results of performance guarantees
  • bachelor's degree in business or equivalent work experience.

Nice to have:

  • previous client management experience with a health plan carrier
  • previous client management experience with a pharmacy benefit manager (PBM)
  • 3–5 years of experience of relevant pharmacy industry experience.
