The Strategic Account Sales Executive role involves driving financial services sales success for strategic accounts, aligning with customer goals and advancing sustainable IT asset lifecycle models. The position includes responsibilities across pipeline-building, deal-closing, and educating stakeholders while emphasizing collaboration and customer value.
Job Responsibility:
Own the sales process from pipeline-building to deal-closing, driving financial services sales success for strategic accounts
Articulate a two-way connection between the customer's core goals and business priorities, and the plan to help the customer with financial services solutions and sustainable IT asset lifecycle models
Evangelize and can educate the sales stakeholder in the account on the benefits of HPEFS offerings to close multi-year, multi-million-dollar transactions with HPE’s largest corporate customers
Formulate and present technology choices and finance solutions for the customer that will expand our presence and margin, optimizing the profitability of the account - both now and in the future
Act as a strong leader and team worker to cooperate with internal resources including sales management, portfolio management, marketing, lease administration, solution managers, etc., to build win-win propositions to meet their clients’ needs and KPI’s
Requirements:
University or bachelor’s degree preferred
+10 years’ experience in a similar account management role for finance solutions within the IT sector
Understanding of the current trends and issues in the IT industry and how to relate HPEFS capabilities to those
Proven track record in development and driving growth with key accounts
Profound finance and IT acumen on how to align with specific company services or product lines
Ability to understand the customer's business issues and translate to company solutions
Interest and understanding of the customer’s sustainability requirements, and how those can be supported by HPEFS’ Asset Lifecycle solutions
Excellent communication, negotiation and competitive selling skills and ability to frame the value proposition for the customer
Ability to prioritize and drive strategic sales activity on multi-product or solution basis
Business fluency in German and English language
