Job Description:

The Strategic Ledger Functional Lead will oversee the design and functionality of Oracle Cloud solutions at Citi, leading global teams and managing cross-functional solutioning. Responsibilities include driving system design, managing Oracle collaboration, and supporting functional testing activities. Ideal candidates will have expertise with Oracle financial cloud solutions and a background in global team leadership.

Job Responsibility:

Manage end user facing (recon, report, adjustments) and back office (contract sub-ledger, general ledger, accounting hub) Oracle functional teams
lead and coordinate cross functional design sessions
work with consulting partner to lead requirements fit gap analysis against Oracle solution
partner closely with the initiative test lead as the finance functional test lead
help lead key design decision workshops in conjunction with initiative solution architect
key participant and voting member in initiative change control forum
drive coordination with Oracle for resolution of functional defects and for functional enhancements to solution
continue to build out Citi's internal, global Oracle capability
has full management responsibilities for team (includes hiring and people management)
manage global team with resources in USA, Europe, and India

Requirements:

Proven track record of success implementing finance solutions at complex, large global financial service organisations
strong Oracle Cloud financials (ERP, EPM, AFCS) experience
communication and diplomacy skills in order to guide and influence others
experience and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a complex and dynamic environment
self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions
in depth knowledge of banking products / systems highly preferred
global team building experience
proven track record of success managing and leading inhouse and outsourced teams on a global basis
Bachelor’s/University degree
