Job Description:

Citi’s Client organization is looking for Summer Intern to join the Research team in London. Citi provides world-class products and financing solutions for corporations, governments, and institutional and retail investors through our dominant underwriting capabilities. Our global platform, broad product knowledge and on-the-ground local markets expertise coupled with complementary strengths in technology and distribution allows us to offer clients a wide range of comprehensive financial solutions.

Job Responsibility:

Work with a team covering a specific industry or macro area
Develop a thorough understanding of financial markets
Learn to identify and analyse trends
Collect, outline and explain information
Take on various projects
Create, update and maintain economic or financial spreadsheets, quantitative models and databases
Refresh marketing handouts
Assist with ad-hoc client requests
Shadow Analysts by attending company and industry meetings as well as industry conferences

Requirements:

Due to graduate in Summer 2026
On course to achieve a 2.1 at undergraduate level in any degree discipline
Creative in solving problems and intellectually curious
Hard-working and diligent
Enthusiastic, quick-thinking and able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
Confident and comfortable with clients and articulate in oral and written communication
Focused on achieving the group and client objectives
Detail-oriented

Nice to have:

Highly ethical and honest
Quick learner
Enthusiasm and eagerness to take off, advance quickly, and assume more responsibility
Extremely entrepreneurial with exceptional attention to detail
Natural communicator
