Job Description:

Assist staff with expediting problem payments, follow up with guests, process check-ins and payments, set up accounts, anticipate sold-out situations, block rooms, coordinate with Housekeeping, review shift logs, count bank, assist management in various tasks, ensure adherence to quality standards, and perform other reasonable job duties as requested.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist staff with expediting problem payments
  • Follow up with guest regarding satisfaction with guest-related issues
  • Process all guest check-ins
  • Process all payment types
  • Set up accurate accounts for each guest
  • Anticipate sold-out situations
  • Block rooms in the computer
  • Contact appropriate individual or department
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping
  • Review shift logs/daily memo books
  • Count bank at the beginning and end of shift
  • Balance and drop receipts
  • Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating and coaching employees
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
  • Follow all company policies and procedures
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
  • Anticipate and address guests’ service needs
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language
  • Prepare and review written documents
  • Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
  • Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • No supervisory experience
  • None license or certification required
