Job Description:

The Supervisor-Laundry position at Courtyard Beijing Changping involves overseeing laundry operations, training employees, ensuring safety and quality standards, and assisting in management tasks. The role requires physical tasks such as lifting and moving objects, as well as maintaining professional standards and confidentiality.

Job Responsibility:

Complete inventory of uniforms and linens
Conduct monthly inventory of laundry supplies
Report faulty equipment, maintenance needs, and safety hazards
Train employees on laundry procedures
Verify laundry requests are completed
Operate and monitor laundry machinery
Inspect linens and terry for damage
Assist management in hiring, training, and evaluating employees
Follow company and safety policies
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are professional
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Develop and maintain positive working relationships
Ensure adherence to quality expectations
Identify and implement ways to increase efficiency and productivity
Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving objects

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 1 year of related work experience
