Job Description:

Randstad is currently working with a top tier defence company who are looking for a Supply Support Operations Manager to support a critical sustainment program for the Royal Australian Navy. The role will support the day-to-day operations of the Capability Life Cycle Management (CLCM) of a major fleet of navy ships.

Job Responsibility:

Lead a team to ensure compliance is maintained in all aspects of the sustainment program in accordance with the Commonwealth and CLCM policies
Conduct technical assessments and financial monitoring of the sustainment program
Engage in proactive and re-active procurement and inventory management
Conduct Data Analysis of supply support data
Produce various technical reports related to Supply Support e.g. Demand Satisfaction Rate Reports
Participate in various Supply Support Plans, including Supply Management Plan, Engineering Change Management Plan, Inventory and Obsolescence Management Plan

Requirements:

Certifications in Integrated Logistics Management or Supply Chain Management
Significant experience in strategic supply support activities for complex defence programs, preferably within the maritime industry
Experience in strategic planning, governance, procurement, and data analytics
Experience and knowledge of Configuration Management tools such as CMT-U
Knowledge of various logistics, inventory, and procurement management tools used in defence e.g. MILIS and NAVALLOW
An excellent communicator who can engage and motivate diverse and geographically dispersed teams
Outcome focused and demonstrates strong values-based leadership
Must be an Australian citizen and eligible to obtain a defence security clearance
