Job Description:

We are looking for dedicated support workers to join a highly respected provider of supported accommodation for 16 to 25-year-olds in Bristol. The organisation helps young people transition into independent living, many of whom have experienced trauma, and provides a sensitive approach to those at risk of exploitation, substance use, or challenging behaviour.

Job Responsibility:

Building trusting relationships with young people and acting as a positive role model
helping them develop life skills, confidence, and independence
managing challenging situations with empathy, patience, and de-escalation techniques
ensuring a safe and structured environment in line with safeguarding regulations.

Requirements:

Experience in care, social work, youth work, or a regulated environment is beneficial but not essential
strong communication and interpersonal skills - the ability to engage and build rapport is key
understanding of safeguarding, or a willingness to learn
resilience, patience, and a genuine desire to help young people thrive.
