Job Description:

Randstad Care is looking for compassionate and resilient support workers to provide high-quality care in various care settings, including residential care for children, young people, and supported living services for young adults. This role involves supporting individuals with complex needs, including mental health challenges, learning disabilities, and challenging behaviours. Ideal candidates should have prior experience and a passion for improving lives.

Job Responsibility:

Provide person-centred care in a residential setting
Support young people facing emotional distress, aggression, and trauma histories
Identify and respond to safeguarding concerns
Help young people develop life skills, access education, and engage in social activities
Collaborate with social workers, therapists, and healthcare professionals
Maintain accurate professional reports

Requirements:

Minimum 6 months of experience supporting children and young people with complex needs
Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain
Social Care Wales registration or equivalent
Resilience

passion for improving young lives
full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (ideal but not necessary)
Level 3 Health & Social Care (preferred but not essential)
