Job Description:

We're seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our innovative SEN college in Cranleigh, Surrey. The role involves providing a supportive and stimulating environment for young adults aged 18-35, helping them develop essential life skills, work experience, and educational qualifications. Key activities include individual and group support, life skills development, work experience facilitation, and collaboration with therapists and educators.

Job Responsibility:

Provide individual and group support
assist with developing essential life skills
facilitate work experience opportunities
help learners progress towards individual goals
collaborate with the college's team of therapists and educators

Requirements:

Experience working with individuals with special needs
excellent communication skills
patient and understanding
positive and encouraging approach
comfortable working with students who may exhibit challenging behaviour
confident working in the community with learners
valid DBS check
full driving licence (preferred)

Nice to have:

Full driving licence
