Job Description:

This role involves leading teams to deliver technology solutions for Citigroup's NextGen entitlement platform and managing critical technical functions to support cloud-based microservices architecture.

Job Responsibility:

Manage multiple teams of professionals to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for team (e.g., performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions)
Drive the execution and delivery of features by collaborating with many cross-functional teams, architects, product owners, and developers
Support on platform features for NextGen entitlement platform delivery teams
Assist with the design of solutions and mentor other Leads / Developers
Deliver solutions and architecture leveraging Scaled Agile methodologies
Develop technology road maps while recommending business directions based on emerging technologies
Provide technical leadership and develop overall systems design and associated components
Translate complex business problems into sound technical solutions
Provide integrated systems planning and recommend innovative technologies
Advise and mentor junior team members
Lead a software organization through transformation from legacy on-premise applications to microservices-based applications in the cloud
Assess risk and ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations
Demonstrate sound ethical judgment and safeguard Citigroup's reputation.

Requirements:

8+ years experience in management within Technology organization
8+ years relevant experience in Software Development Life Cycle
8+ years hands-on architecture experience on all parts of SDLC - application development, application deployment, application test, performance testing
6+ years experience and proficient in Java, Spring Boot and reactive programming
6+ years experience in RESTful APIs
6+ years experience in databases like Oracle, Mongo DB
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Ability to prioritize work and share with business stakeholders
Ability to develop working relationships with other architects and IT application managers.
