The job involves performing full-vehicle NVH analysis, developing engineering concepts for assemblies and subsystems, and collaborating with teams to improve designs through simulation results. Responsibilities also include using CAE tools like Ansys and developing subsystem requirements from system-level requirements.
Job Responsibility:
Perform full-vehicle NVH analysis, including modal analysis, frequency response analysis, and acoustic sensitivity studies
Lead design concept with NVH design principal (Design guide) to make sure that we have right isolator/dampen component to have first time right truck
Develop engineering concepts for Assemblies/Sub-assemblies for proper integration in truck frame
Develop component/subsystem level requirements from truck/System level requirements
Develop, construct, and validate complex vehicle system-level CAE models using tools such as Ansys
Analyze and interpret simulation results to provide actionable insights for design improvements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Power train/Hydraulic/Structure-Frame/Cab & truck Integrations teams) to integrate CAE findings into product development cycles
Requirements:
B.S. or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering
5-10 years of working engineering experience on vehicle
Knowledge and proficiency in Vehicle Dynamics/ NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness)
Basic knowledge and proficiency in some or more of vehicle/automotive technology, manufacturing technology, design/test experience, test practices and procedures
Basic proficiency of testing equipment for NVH and its usage
