Job Description:

Our growing client is seeking a diligent and experienced Systems Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be skilled at managing, configuring, and troubleshooting various computer systems. We're looking for someone with a broad knowledge base, including expertise in Windows Server, VMware, virtualization, and Linux administration.

Job Responsibility:

Install, configure, and maintain servers and networks, including Windows Server and Linux systems
Oversee and manage system backups and recovery
Administer the Active Directory and manage user accounts, permissions, email, and anti-virus/malware
Implement and manage virtualization and cloud environments through VMware
Troubleshoot and resolve various system issues and bugs to ensure optimal system performance
Generate comprehensive technical documentation of all system network designs, schemas, and configurations
Regularly evaluate existing systems to recommend and implement enhancements or upgrades
Drive the integration of new technologies into network design where suitable
Work collaboratively with IT team and other departments to align system protocols

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Systems Administrator role or similar
Proficiency in Active Directory, VMware, Vmware Infrastructure, and Vmware Technologies
Experience with Linux System Administration and Linux Technologies
Knowledge of System Administration and Unix System Administration
Ability to create and manage Technical Documentation
Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server and Windows Server 2019
Experience with Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS) and Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS)
Knowledge of ADUC - Active Directory Users & Computers and Azure Active Directory
Proficiency in Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, Virtual Desktop, and Desktop Virtualization
Experience with Network Virtualization, Server Virtualization, Service virtualization, and Storage virtualization
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues efficiently
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
Relevant educational background or certification would be advantageous
