Job Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing cloud-based infrastructure and services. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and a strong understanding of system administration, automation, and security best practices.

Job Responsibility:

Administer and maintain cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance
Deploy, manage, and monitor cloud-based applications and services
Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar
Collaborate with development and IT teams to ensure secure, efficient cloud architecture
Perform routine backups, system updates, and patch management on cloud environments
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot cloud-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime
Ensure cloud security best practices are followed, including identity and access management, encryption, and compliance requirements
Manage and optimize cloud resources to reduce costs and improve efficiency

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Cloud Systems Administrator or in a similar role
Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, networking, and storage
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Puppet)
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Datadog) and logging solutions
Understanding of cloud security principles and practices
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience
