Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Systems Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Mitel, Cisco, and preferably Palo Alto (though open to other firewall solutions). Strong knowledge of VMware is also required. This role requires a hybrid schedule with three days onsite per week, offering some flexibility.

Job Responsibility:

Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security
Manage and configure Mitel communication systems
Deploy and support Cisco networking equipment (routers, switches, firewalls)
Work with Palo Alto or equivalent firewalls for security management
Administer VMware environments, including virtual servers and storage
Troubleshoot network and system issues, ensuring high availability and reliability
Collaborate with IT teams to support business needs and optimize infrastructure
Perform regular audits, updates, and security patches
Document network configurations, processes, and incident resolutions

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in network and systems engineering
Hands-on experience with Mitel, Cisco, and preferably Palo Alto (or equivalent)
Proficiency in VMware administration and virtualization technologies
Strong understanding of network protocols, security, and troubleshooting
Experience with hybrid cloud environments is a plus
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
