Job Description:

TA Manager role involving talent acquisition, learning and development, employer branding, and people management for a global sports and fashion brand in Tokyo.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and manage full-cycle recruitment efforts for key roles across the organization that meet staffing needs and ensure exceptional candidate experience
  • develop and implement strategies to attract top talent through innovative sourcing techniques
  • build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to ensure alignment on staffing needs and talent profiles
  • manage the recruitment process from candidate sourcing, screening, and interviewing to offer negotiation and onboarding
  • track recruitment metrics and Workday ATS system to ensure efficiency
  • ensure all recruitment practices comply with labor laws and company policies
  • lead the design, communication, delivery, and ongoing management of global and regional curriculums and programs
  • partner closely with business leaders and PX teams to prioritize and understand business learning needs
  • develop and execute strategies to enhance the company’s employer brand and reputation in the marketplace
  • manage and develop team members to ensure high engagement and motivation
  • foster an environment of inclusion and belonging

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition and/or Learning & Development roles, with a proven track record
  • experience building and developing sourcing/recruiting strategies and tools
  • people management experiences leading a small team
  • strong knowledge of recruitment tools and platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, applicant tracking systems)
  • demonstrated expertise in creating and executing employer branding strategies
  • experience planning and implementing employee training and development programs
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with senior leaders
  • strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • a passion for talent development and a commitment to fostering a culture of growth and learning
  • results-oriented with self-confidence, perseverance, and a high sense of urgency
  • outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both Japanese and English (TOEIC 850+)
  • competent at data collection and analysis
  • high learning agility
  • familiarity with data analytics and the ability to assess talent programs’ ROI
  • proficient in MS Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
