TA Manager role involving talent acquisition, learning and development, employer branding, and people management for a global sports and fashion brand in Tokyo.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and manage full-cycle recruitment efforts for key roles across the organization that meet staffing needs and ensure exceptional candidate experience
develop and implement strategies to attract top talent through innovative sourcing techniques
build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to ensure alignment on staffing needs and talent profiles
manage the recruitment process from candidate sourcing, screening, and interviewing to offer negotiation and onboarding
track recruitment metrics and Workday ATS system to ensure efficiency
ensure all recruitment practices comply with labor laws and company policies
lead the design, communication, delivery, and ongoing management of global and regional curriculums and programs
partner closely with business leaders and PX teams to prioritize and understand business learning needs
develop and execute strategies to enhance the company’s employer brand and reputation in the marketplace
manage and develop team members to ensure high engagement and motivation
foster an environment of inclusion and belonging
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition and/or Learning & Development roles, with a proven track record
experience building and developing sourcing/recruiting strategies and tools
people management experiences leading a small team
strong knowledge of recruitment tools and platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, applicant tracking systems)
demonstrated expertise in creating and executing employer branding strategies
experience planning and implementing employee training and development programs
excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with senior leaders
strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
a passion for talent development and a commitment to fostering a culture of growth and learning
results-oriented with self-confidence, perseverance, and a high sense of urgency
outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both Japanese and English (TOEIC 850+)
competent at data collection and analysis
high learning agility
familiarity with data analytics and the ability to assess talent programs’ ROI
proficient in MS Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
