Job Description:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment in Japan, occasionally supporting regional hiring. The role includes sourcing, screening, offer negotiation, and onboarding, along with implementing innovative strategies to improve hiring quality. Responsibilities span planning recruitment strategies, executing processes, reporting metrics, and supporting special HR-related projects.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage a portfolio of requisitions and ensure successful hiring outcomes
  • Utilize direct sourcing techniques and best practices to implement cost-effective talent acquisition strategies
  • Work closely with the local HR team, Talent Acquisition, and the Regional TA Director to manage recruitment processes
  • Develop strong partnerships with hiring managers to ensure a pipeline of talent
  • Plan and execute recruitment events such as career fairs and networking sessions
  • Leverage sourcing methods including social media, job boards, networks, and universities
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, offer negotiation, and onboarding
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce reliance on external agencies
  • Promote employer branding initiatives to attract talent in Japan and Korea
  • Ensure compliance with policies and local hiring regulations
  • Monitor recruitment metrics and provide data-driven insights
  • Report hiring gaps and recruitment progress to leaders
  • Participate in talent acquisition and HR initiatives

Requirements:

  • Experience in recruitment within an internal corporate, RPO, or agency environment
  • Strong expertise in candidate sourcing, utilizing professional networking, social media platforms, and job boards
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment data management
  • Experience working in a global, cross-functional environment with remote teams
  • Strong analytical skills, particularly regarding compensation structures and internal equity
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
  • Ability to align recruitment strategies with broader business objectives
  • Proven ability to balance multiple priorities and navigate complex hiring processes
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
  • Business-level proficiency in English and fluency in Japanese
