Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented contract Tax Accountant to support our team during the busy tax season. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing tax returns and providing accounting support in various forms.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare tax returns, including 1040, 1120, 1120S, Form 1065, and 1041
Conduct tax planning, research, and ensure compliance
Perform bookkeeping using QuickBooks
Participate in audit, review, and compilation engagements
Assist with financial statement preparation
Familiarity with GAAS and GAAP

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Strong understanding of tax preparation, audit, and government regulations
Experience with tax return preparation for individuals and businesses
Quick learner, especially in tax, audit, and government-related areas
CPA exam completion (or partial completion) is preferred

Nice to have:

CPA exam completion (or partial completion)
