Job Description:

Our client, a prestigious top-tier law firm, is seeking a Tax Lawyer to join their dynamic and collaborative Tax Department. In this role, you will work alongside experienced professionals, tackling complex issues related to both domestic and international tax law. Job Responsibility:

Advising clients on a broad spectrum of tax matters, including corporate tax, international tax, and VAT
Assisting in structuring and executing cross-border transactions
Drafting legal opinions
Providing guidance on tax compliance, planning, and strategies to mitigate risks
Working closely with other departments such as Corporate and M&A, ensuring seamless advice on tax implications for transactions
Staying updated with the latest tax legislation, developments, and case law.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a tax lawyer in Greece, with a focus on international taxation
Bachelor’s degree in Law from a top-tier Greek university
Postgraduate degree in Tax Law from a well-accredited institution
Legal qualification (Athens Bar admission or other relevant Bar in Greece)
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English
Excellent technical knowledge of Greek and international tax law
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
