Job Description:

Responsible for managing tax obligations and compliance for the organization and affiliates, conducting research, guiding tax strategy, and collaborating across internal and external teams to ensure proper federal and multi-state compliance.

Job Responsibility:

Manage relationships with external tax advisors
coordinate tax estimates for internal planning and payments
review tax returns prepared by service providers
manage tax payments and distributions
oversee fiscal and investor tax compliance
track tax exemption programs and ensure compliance
handle communications with tax authorities
coordinate annual Nexus reviews
prepare ASC 740 tax accounting provisions
review tax returns against partnership investment models
understand federal and state tax incentive programs for solar projects
coordinate tax compliance for M&A transactions
identify tax savings opportunities
conduct ad hoc tax research and provide guidance
develop state tax guidance summaries
advise development and asset management teams
build relationships across internal teams for financial insights

Requirements:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in corporate taxation
proficiency in Annual Income Tax Provision
familiarity with Partnership Tax and Partnership Tax Returns
expertise in Multi-state Tax and Federal Tax
experience in a Big 4 Accounting Firm (preferred)
possession of a CPA title
applicant must hold a current CPA license
demonstrated experience in Tax Planning Strategies
