Job Description:

We are seeking a Tax Manager - Public to join our team in the construction/contractor industry located in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role involves managing various accounting functions, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and utilizing a variety of accounting software systems.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee the execution of accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
Utilize accounting software systems such as CaseWare and CCH ProSystem Fx for data management and analysis
Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, minimizing the company's tax liabilities
Prepare annual income tax provisions, ensuring they are accurate and completed in a timely manner
Conduct auditing processes to identify any areas of improvement or discrepancies
Manage the use of ADP - Financial Services for payroll processes and other financial services
Monitor and handle entity formation processes, ensuring they adhere to legal and company standards
Utilize CCH Sales Tax software for managing and analyzing sales tax processes
Address and resolve any issues or inquiries related to accounting processes and tax provisions
Stay up-to-date with industry developments and changes in tax laws to ensure the company's processes remain compliant

Requirements:

Must possess proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required
Knowledge of CaseWare software is desirable
Familiarity with CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax is advantageous
A solid understanding of Accounting Functions is mandatory
Experience with Annual Income Tax Provision is crucial
Auditing skills are essential
Must have a strong sense of Compliance
Experience with Entity Formation is beneficial

Nice to have:

Knowledge of CaseWare software
Familiarity with CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax
Experience with Entity Formation
