Job Description:

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Tax Manager in the Public sector. The role is based in Paris, Texas, United States in the Accounting industry. As a Tax Manager, you will be tasked with managing complex tax returns, providing financial tax planning consultation, and overseeing client relationships.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee the preparation and review of complex tax returns
Provide expert advice on tax aspects related to business transactions
Consult with businesses and individual clients on financial tax planning matters
Manage and maintain client relationships for tax and bookkeeping clients
Train staff on all aspects of tax practice
Monitor and manage customer credit applications accurately and efficiently
Maintain accurate customer credit records
Practice effective time management and take initiative in daily tasks
Utilize analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues
Foster positive relationships with clients and throughout all levels of the firm

Requirements:

Over 5 years of experience in Public Accounting and Tax Management
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification
Proficiency in Accounting Functions
Experience with Annual Income Tax Provision
Experience working with Public Companies
Knowledge and experience in State Tax, Multi-state Tax, Estate Tax, and Federal Tax
Ability to prepare and review Federal Tax Returns
Comprehensive understanding of Federal Taxes
Experience in Public Accounting Tax
