Job Description:

Assist partners in consulting with closely held businesses and individual clients on financial and tax planning matters;Review tax returns, including consolidated or multi-state business returns, complex pass-through entities and complex individuals;Identify and research tax planning and compliance issues;Participates actively in client meetings and tax planning efforts;Coach and mentor junior level staff

Job Responsibility:

Assist partners in consulting with closely held businesses and individual clients on financial and tax planning matters
Review tax returns, including consolidated or multi-state business returns, complex pass-through entities and complex individuals
Identify and research tax planning and compliance issues
Participates actively in client meetings and tax planning efforts
Coach and mentor junior level staff

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting
CPA
6+ years of experience in public accounting industry
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Proficiency with Microsoft Office in particular Excel and Word, tax software, planning software and online research software
Ability to demonstrate sound judgment and analyzing problems logically and comprehensively, distinguishing between relevant and irrelevant information
Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
