Job Description:

This role will involve the preparation and review of various tax returns, conducting financial compilations, managing and training staff, overseeing client engagements, and providing business consultations.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and review tax returns including individual, corporate, partnership, trust and estate
Oversee the accuracy of tax returns and projections, and suggest tax saving measures
Conduct financial compilations or reviews in accordance with SSARS 21 standards
Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to team members
Manage full charge coordination of client engagements, including special projects
Consult with clients on various business matters, providing support as needed
Ensure adherence to industry regulations and standards in all operations
Develop and implement strategies for improving operational efficiency and accuracy
Collaborate with other team members and departments to streamline processes

Requirements:

Must hold a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a public accounting firm
Demonstrated knowledge of tax codes and regulations
Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage a team
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
High ethical standards and professionalism, respecting confidentiality requirements
Proven track record in planning and implementing tax strategies
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively with other team members and departments
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Proven track record of successfully managing client relationships
Commitment to continuous learning and development in tax regulations and laws
Experience in preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals and businesses
Demonstrated ability to conduct research on tax issues and develop effective solutions
