Job Description:

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Tax Preparer in Garland, Texas. This role is primarily focused on assisting with business tax filings and will be based in a CPA firm.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure tax-related deadlines are met by coordinating with internal team members
Maintain and manage organized records of clients’ financial and tax information
Prepare business tax returns, including individual partnerships and state tax returns
Review all tax filings to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
Utilize various accounting software systems to efficiently process client data
Provide excellent customer service, addressing and resolving any customer inquiries
Manage partnership tax returns and partnership taxation procedures
Use Lacerte Tax Software for tax preparation and data entry tasks
Handle ADP financial services and CCH Sales Tax software
Oversee accounting functions and manage allowances and deductibles in corporate tax returns

Requirements:

Proficient in Accounting Software Systems
Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services
Experience with CCH ProSystem Fx
Knowledge of CCH Sales Tax
Proficiency in Drake Tax Software
Ability to perform various Accounting Functions
Understanding of Allowances
Excellent Customer Service skills
Proficient in Data Entry
Understanding of Deductible
Experience with Lacerte Tax Software
Knowledge of Partnership Tax
Ability to prepare Partnership Tax Returns
Understanding of Partnership Taxation
Experience in preparing Tax Returns
Ability to prepare Corporate Tax Return
