Job Description:

The role involves dealing with high net worth clientele, full tax return preparation, and potential for future hybrid flexibility. This position will allow you to utilize your experience in Accounting Software Systems, Drake Tax Software, Intuit ProSeries, Lacerte Tax Software, Microsoft Excel, Customer Service, Deductible, Documentation, Expense Reporting, and managing Financial Records.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and review tax returns for high net worth individuals
Utilize various tax software such as Drake Tax Software, Intuit ProSeries, and Lacerte Tax Software
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Provide excellent customer service when addressing client inquiries
Assist in expense reporting for the company
Maintain a strong understanding of tax deductions to maximize client returns
Stay updated with changing tax laws and regulations
Collaborate with team members to improve and streamline tax preparation processes
Ensure all tax returns are completed accurately and by the set deadlines
Participate in ongoing professional development and aim for CPA/EA designation

Requirements:

3+ years of experience as a Tax Preparer or in a similar role
Experience with Drake Tax Software
Familiarity with Intuit ProSeries is required
Proficiency in Lacerte Tax Software is a must
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Ability to understand and apply tax deductible principles
Capable of maintaining and organizing documentation accurately
Experience in Expense Reporting is required
Ability to maintain and manage financial records effectively

Nice to have:

CPA/EA designation
